Course Profile
Short: The runs and cycle will be flat on tarmac surfaces, ideal for someone starting out in the sport.
Medium: The first run includes a steep uphill section with steps on a track up to Marpua. Although steep there are several areas of flat path for recovery. This run course is attainable and once the hill is out of the way it is all downhill or flat. At the top there is a piece of off road running along a grit path, there is a corresponding downhill which is not steep and is on a tarmac surface on and offroad. The cycle is predominantly flat with an incline over the pass at Seatoun. The second run is flat on the road.
Long: The first run is the same as the medium but 2 laps instead of 1. The cycle includes the hill at Seatoun. The second run is 1 loop of the first run.
