Sport Wellington Buggy Walk

August Buggy Walk - Thursday 5th August
Ara Harakeke Walkway - Plimmerton Domain

Come and join us at for a walk along the Ara Harakeke Walkway which starts at the Plimmerton Domain. This Buggy Walk is longer then usual but is completely flat. The walk will be approximately 80-90 minutes long, but the track is an out and back walk, so participants have the option of turning around when they want.

Dogs on a lead are welcome on this walk.

Start Time: 10.15am meet for a 10.30am start.

How to get there: If coming from Wellington: stay on SH1, pass the turn off into Plimmerton, turn left at the round about into Ulric St and then left into the Domain.

Meet: at Plimmerton Domain

Track: This track is flat, on sealed and gravel terrain

September Buggy Walk - Thursday 2nd September
Petone Foreshore, Hikoikoi Park
**Please Note: this walk has changed from Paekakariki to Petone**
Come join Sport Wellington and Greater Wellington Regional Council for a popular Buggy Walk walk along the Petone Foreshore. The walk will take participants up towards the wharf and returning back to Hikoikoi Park. This walk has beautiful views over to Wellington harbour, Eastbourne and Somes Island. Come and enjoy a complimentary coffee from Caffe L'affare before the walk.

Dogs on a lead are welcome on this walk.

Start Time: 10.15am meet for a 10.30am start.

How to get there: Head along Petone Foreshore towards Eastbourne. Turn right down Kirkcaldy St (at the end of Petone Foreshore). Hikoikoi Park is straight ahead. Parking is available on Marine Parade. Map of the location of Hikoikoi Park

Track: This track is flat, on sealed footpaths

Cancellation: Please check the Buggy Walk website from 8.30am on the day of the walk
